Fudgie, Mini-Rex, Brown, 4 pounds DOB estimated 2005

Fudgie was at a local humane society and being overweight they could not spay her and they felt she adoptable and were going to euthanize her.  Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue was given the opportunity to have her transferred out of the humane society into one of our foster homes.  Fudgie was placed on a diet of high quality timothy hay based pellets, unlimited timothy hay and fresh vegetables and lost the weight.  During her spay Fudgie was breathing very heavy which is not normal.  Upon our vet taking x-rays of Fudgies lungs it was discovered that she had no air in them.  Fudgie has the special need of living the rest of her life in a stress free environment, no dusty hay.  If you are interested in adopting Fudgie, please go to: www.rasarescue.org and fill out our adoption application and we will contact you within 48 hours.
